Matthew is a fully certified personal trainer by the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). He has an extensive background from training professional and amateur athletes to working professionals with nominal experience in fitness.

  • I have always been surrounded by health and fitness. I come from a family that is committed to leading a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Playing sports from an early age also afforded me the opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the fitness industry. After working with high school, college, and professional athletes I decided to expand my opportunities and started my own company, Thrive4Performance.

  • I view my approach to fitness as lasting behavior modification that targets all components of health and wellness. It’s more than just spending an hour in the gym 3 or 4 times a week. You must constantly modify your approach and allow for growth, improvement, and yes, the occasional setbacks. I believe that along with exercise, holistic wellness strategies are the best way to achieve and maintain a healthy body, mind, and soul.

  • It’s more than just lifting weights, learning routines and documenting stats. That approach might achieve some of your short-term fitness goals, but my larger goal is helping you establish a strong foundation for lasting health and fitness success. I want to help my clients fall in love with health and fitness. Watching them push themselves to fully learn what they’re capable of achieving. It’s an involved journey with many competing challenges. I want to identify your specific challenges, and provide you with solutions for success. My role is to help you become successful and be your personal guide on every step of your journey.

So I can tell you, without doubt, that my favorite client is someone with an open mind, a goal, and the willingness to work towards it! Use what you have and do what you can.
