Thrive4Performance LLC (“Thrive 4 Performance”, “we”) is a coaching business in Houston, Texas. This policy describes what we actually collect, who we send it to, how long we keep it, and how to make us delete it. It covers our website, our coaching app, our text messages and our Instagram account.
When you enquire. Your name, email address, phone number, and what you told us you want to work on. If you came from an ad or a link, we also record which one.
When you text us. Your phone number and the content of the messages, in both directions.
When you message us on Instagram. The account identifier Instagram gives us, your Instagram username, and the content of the messages. We do not receive your email or phone number from Instagram.
When you become a client. Date of birth, height, weight, training goals, injuries or areas you have told us to work around, workout and nutrition logs, progress measurements, and any photos you choose to upload.
If you connect a wearable. Fitbit, Oura, Whoop or Google Calendar, only if you connect it yourself, and only the data those services release to us. You can disconnect at any time.
If you apply to coach with us. Your name, email, phone, and the details on your application.
Some of the above is information about your body and your health. We collect it because coaching cannot be done well without it, we use it only to coach you, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising. We are a coaching business and not a medical provider: nothing we hold is a medical record, and nothing we say is medical advice.
We use AI assistants to help answer messages. When you text us or message us on Instagram, the content of that conversation is sent to Anthropic, an AI provider, so a reply can be drafted. Anthropic processes it on our behalf and does not use it to train their models.
An assistant will tell you it is an assistant if you ask. Anything sensitive — an injury, a medication, a health condition, or anything you would rather a person handled — is passed to Matthew rather than answered automatically.
We use a small number of companies to run the business. Each sees only what it needs to:
A gym that introduced you to us is paid when you train with us, so they can see that you are here. That is the whole of it. A gym never sees your health information, anything from a wearable you connected, your workouts, your food, your measurements, your photos, your card details, or anything you say to your coach — and never sees anyone who came to us another way, or the members of any other gym.
If you would rather your gym did not see your email address and phone number, tell us and we will hide them. It will not change your training or what you pay.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We text you only if you gave us your number and agreed to it, or if you texted us first. Reply STOP to any message and it stops immediately. Message and data rates may apply. We keep a record that you opted out, because it is the only way to be sure we do not message you again.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Texas has no general consumer privacy statute that applies to a business our size, but we will honour these requests from anybody, wherever you live.

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and our assistants are built to stop and hand the conversation to a person if someone says they are a minor. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will remove it.
Access is restricted to Matthew and, for their own clients only, each coach. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects you.
If we change what we collect or who we send it to, we change this page and update the date at the top.
