Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time, and you do not need an account to do it.

How to request deletion

Email matthew@thrive4performance.com with the subject Data deletion request, and include whichever of these you used to contact us:

the phone number you texted us from
the email address you gave us
your Instagram username, if we spoke on Instagram

We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we cannot match your request to any record, we will tell you that rather than leave you waiting.

What gets deleted

your enquiry record: name, email, phone, and anything you told us about your goals
text message conversations with us, in both directions
Instagram conversations, including the account identifier Instagram gives us and the messages themselves
appointments and consultations that have not yet happened

What we may have to keep

Two things survive a deletion request, and we would rather say so plainly than surprise you:

Records of payments, where you have bought coaching. Tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, and they are held by our payment processor rather than by us.
A record that you asked not to be contacted, if you opted out. It is the only way to make sure we do not message you again, and it holds nothing beyond that.

Stopping messages without deleting anything

If you only want the messages to stop, reply STOP to any text from us. That takes effect immediately and does not require an email to anyone.

Instagram

If you messaged our Instagram account, we store the conversation and the account identifier Instagram provides so we can reply to you. Removing our app from your Instagram settings stops any further data reaching us, and emailing the address above removes what we already hold.
